黑澤明塑造了一個近乎神一般善良的果爾特獵人德爾蘇，尤其在上半部，他絕妙的槍法，讓大家給小屋留些糧食方便路人，他為男主搭起救命的蘆葦小屋，近乎全知全能，收獲了友誼也服眾了。下半部德爾蘇依然貢獻了涉水指導大家救人的場面，可惜當他發(fā)現(xiàn)自己眼神不好后（交待自己被人騙光錢財時，可憐巴巴地令人心碎，人物命運走了下坡路，在誤殺老虎之后，德爾蘇更加不再神采飛揚。他接受男主的邀請后短暫體驗了城市生活，但最后還是回歸山林，誰能想到一把象征友誼的新獵槍卻害了德爾蘇的性命。導演埋葬德爾蘇幾年后故地重游的方式，交代了以上劇情，期間對于東北亞茂密森林、黃昏下蘆葦蕩、湍急的小溪的展現(xiàn)，色彩飽滿，自然但不乏夢幻，如同油畫一般的質(zhì)感，令人心馳神往！還有德爾蘇和男主之間真摯的友誼，超越種族zz令人動容！鵝方的勘探是為了占有吧！
